Five Books I wish I Could Read for the First Time again

I recently shared on Instagram five books that I wish I could read for the first time again - to be honest there are lots of books which could have made it on to the list but these were the 5 that stood out for me.

My five books are -

  • The Offing by Benjamin Myers

  • In Memoriam by Alice Winn

  • The Safekeep by Yael van den Wouden

  • The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

  • Still Life by Sarah Winman

Whenever a customer buys one of these books I am so happy for them as I know what lies ahead in those book pages but also slightly envious they get to experience these books for the first time!

People shared their choices on the Instagram post which books they’d like to read for the first time again and there were some excellent choices, such as -

  • Small Island by Andrea Levy

  • Of Mice and Men

  • Catch 22

  • The Crow Road

  • Riotous Assembly

  • A Gentleman in Moscow

  • People of the Book

  • Hamnett

  • Night Swimmers

  • The Secret History

  • Young mungo

  • American Dirt

  • The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

  • The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie

  • A Month in the Country

  • Pride and Prejudice

Which book (or books) would you like to read for the first time again? Let me know below, I’d love to hear your titles.
